Everyone operating equipment must read this entire safety rules agreement and provide signature... 2. Age restrictions: a. Under 18 – must have signed consent and supervision b. 12–16 with tractor safety certificate – may operate tractors c. 10–16 without certificate – only lawn tractors at walking pace d. No age restriction for “I rode my first tractor” or rodeos 3. Pedestrians have the right of way. Yield to them. 4. Only one qualified operator per equipment. No extra riders. 5. Must be checked out by qualified operator or chairperson. 6. Never leave equipment running unattended. 7. Belt safety: maintain 20' distance, no walking under belts. 8. No driving tractors at night without lights. 9. Faulty brakes = no operation. 10. Use proper hitch pins and clips. 11. Always block wheels on hills. 12. Fuel in approved containers only. No glass. 13. Fire extinguishers required; learn to use them. 14. Transport vehicles must be safe for people. Remember: This club is for you.
