Contract, Rules & Regulations

You are required to follow all rules and regulations as outlined in this document and attached documents. Any  violations will result in termination of the contract, and you will be asked to leave the property.

Flea Market Spaces:

• Prices given are for all four (4) days of the Flea Market. This price includes 2 entrance passes per space if needed (max 4 passes). Please see the contract for pricing.
  • To be guaranteed your space, all spaces must be paid for in full at the time of the contract.

• You are expected to be Ready and Open for business Friday – Monday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Your booth must be manned at all times. You are not permitted to leave early unless approved by the Flea Market Manager. Those that leave early will not be invited to come back. Our guests pay to come in and look around and shop. They pay the same amount to come in the gate on Monday as they do all the other days. By packing up and leaving they are not getting the same experience and that is not acceptable.
• If you are Unable to Attend and know someone who is willing to take your space, you need to contact the Flea Market Manager for approval. Spaces cannot be transferred to another party without written approval from the Flea Market Manager. If you are unable to attend and do not have someone to take your space, you must submit a written letter 45 days prior to Show date to be considered for a refund. It will go before the Flea Market committee for approval. Otherwise, NO REFUNDS will be given for any reason.
• If you are going to be late you must contact the Flea Market Manager by 10am Friday or your space will not be held – NO Exceptions. No refunds will be given.
• If Electricity is needed, please mark on your contract. (Spaces with electricity are limited and not guaranteed). There will be an extra charge for use of electricity (please see contract). All cords must be 12 gauge with molded ends. You must mark your cords with your name and space number. Do not run cords through another space. Please bury cords crossing any walkway. Electricity is only to be used for sale or business purposes. Anyone found using electricity without approval or for non-sale use will be asked to leave promptly NO Exceptions.
• Camping in your Flea Market Space is allowed if you are within your space lines with no additional fee. No electricity is to be used to power anything for your camping needs. If you are camping in the campground there is a fee for the weekend, please contact the camping manager Nathan Hayden at 224-201-1161

ALL items must be removed from your space within 24 hours. Nothing should be left on your space upon departure. If items are left, you will be charged an additional space fee that must be paid before you are able to return to RRT Flea Market as a vendor for any events. Any property left on RRT grounds after the 24 hour deadline will become the property of Rock River Thresheree, Inc.

• Set up – Starts at 10am the Wednesday before Flea Market
  • You will be permitted to enter, register and set up. NOT before!
• You must stop by the Flea Market office before setting up.
• Tear Down – 5:00 PM on Monday
• Do not start tearing down early unless prior approval was given by the Flea Market Manager.
• All garbage should be placed in the appropriate dumpsters before you leave.
• Do NOT block roadways, fire lanes or driveways with tables, items, vehicles or trailers at any time.
• No vehicles are allowed to be driven in the Flea Market area between 8am – 5pm for any reason.

Sale Restrictions & Insurance:

• No X-Rated items of any kind.
• No sale of guns, swords, throwing stars, nun chucks, fireworks, weapons or dangerous items of any kind. The only exception is Knives that are 3 inches or less and must be in a locked case. If you are unsure, please ask the Flea Market Manager.
• Sale of consumable items that could be consumed while on RRT grounds must have proper licensing and insurance (Fruit & Vegetables, Bakery items, etc… can be sold as take-home items only). A copy of your licensing and insurance for consumable items must be provided along with your completed contract. A minimum coverage of $500,000 listing Rock River Thresheree Inc. as an additional insured party is required. This coverage cannot be canceled unless a 30-day written notice is given to Rock River Thresheree Inc.
• Insurance must be in place by vendors to sell on Rock River Thresheree (RRT) property.

Vendor Parking:

• RRT has limited parking on the grounds. We ask that vendors park within their space lines, in the vendor parking area (limit 2 vehicles, including trailers), at your space in the campground (limit to 2 vehicles), or in general parking. You can take the shuttle to the Flea Market if necessary.

Pets:

• NO pets allowed on show grounds during show hours (8am-5pm). The only exception Service animals
  with the appropriate paperwork and/or vests.
• Approved pets must be leashed at ALL times on all RRT grounds including Flea Market, campground and surrounding areas.
• Excessive barking will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask you to remove your pet from the RRT grounds at any time.
• Make sure to always clean up after your pets.

I/We hereby agree to the terms in renting Flea Market space(s) from Rock River Thresheree, Inc.:

1. Indemnify and hold harmless Rock River Thresheree, Inc., for any and all demand, causes of action or claims of any kind or nature, including attorney’s fees and costs of defending such claims arising from or out of any occurrence in connection with the acts or omissions of the undersigned or its agents, invitees or employees.
2. Assume responsibility for damage to park facilities, property or equipment before, during and after the Flea Market held at Thresheree Park.
3. Abide by all rules and regulations issued by Rock River Thresheree, Inc. and Flea Market Contract
